The platform fee is a fixed amount for a fixed period. A busy day and a slow day cost the same to work.

Not a claim of invention
Driver-subscription pricing already exists in India. RideNova's argument is the platform built around it: multimodal service, transparent economics and support.
RideNova has not launched. Subscription terms, plan pricing and product availability will vary by city, product and applicable regulations, and are published only once confirmed.

Everything below is what a driver is typically asked for. The exact list is set by the city you drive in, and it is confirmed during onboarding rather than here.
Requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time. Nothing on this page is a statement of the law where you live — your local regulator is the authority, and we will tell you what it asks for before you upload anything.
A valid driving licence
Current, unexpired, and covering the class of vehicle you plan to drive in the place you plan to drive it.
Vehicle documents
Registration and insurance for the vehicle, plus any permit, fitness or commercial-use paperwork your city asks for.
Identity verification
A government-issued identity document, and a photo taken in the app so the account on the road stays the account we verified.
A smartphone
An Android or iOS phone that runs the driver app, with a mobile data connection for trip requests and navigation.
Minimum age
You will need to meet the minimum age for carrying passengers commercially in the city where you drive. It is not the same everywhere.
Consent to screening
Agreement to the document and background checks that RideNova and your city’s regulator require before an account can go online.
The process
How onboarding works.
Four steps, in order, each one visible while it is happening. No queue you cannot see into and no step that starts before you know what it needs.
Step 01
Register your interest
Tell us the city you would drive in and the vehicle you drive. That is all it takes to be told when driver sign-ups open there.
Step 02
Submit your documents
Upload your licence, vehicle paperwork and identity documents in one guided flow. Each item carries its own status, so you can see what is still outstanding.
Step 03
Verification and screening
We check what you sent against the requirements for your city and complete the background screening that city calls for. If something is missing, you are told which document and why.
Step 04
Activate and go online
Set up how you get paid, walk through the driver tools once, then go online whenever suits you. Your first trip request arrives on your terms.

Earnings you can read
Trip by trip and week by week: what each ride paid, what was deducted and why, and what the plan cost over the same period. One screen, no reconstructing a payout from a statement.
Flexible plans
Plan lengths are designed so a captain who drives three days a week is not paying as though they drive seven. Options and prices are published once approved.
Training before the first trip
Induction covers the app, passenger safety, accessibility and what to do when a trip goes wrong — and refresher training after that, not only at onboarding.
Support that answers
A route through to a person for the things an app cannot settle: a disputed fare, a document rejected in error, an incident on the road.
Insurance and welfare
Being finalisedHealth and term cover for captains is part of what India’s 2025 aggregator framework expects of a platform. RideNova will publish exactly what is provided, and in which city, when the cover is in force.
Drive elsewhere too
Nothing in the plan is designed to stop a captain working on another platform on the same day. Where any restriction applies in a city, it will be stated in the driver terms rather than discovered later.
RideNova has not launched, publishes no earnings estimate and guarantees no number of rides. Plan pricing and welfare provision are published per city, once confirmed.
